BCCAC – Spruell Driver

SPRUELL DRIVER | STAFF

Spruell Driver serves as Director for the Office of Conflict of Interest and Commitment Management within the Office of the General Counsel.聽 His work at 自慰视频 allows him to utilize his prior experience as a transactional attorney, as well as his industrial engineering background. 聽He previously served at 自慰视频 as a Contracts Officer in Sponsored Programs Administration.

Born and raised in Nashville, Driver earned his B.S. in industrial engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.聽 He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Duke University School of Law.聽 Prior to joining 自慰视频, Driver鈥檚 professional experience included working as corporate in-house counsel for Eastman Chemical Company, engaging in private practice as a business transactions attorney with three of Tennessee鈥檚 largest and most respected law firms, and serving as a legislative attorney and special counsel for the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Tennessee General Assembly.

Driver鈥檚 professional and community service and honors have included:聽 University of Tennessee Board of Trustees; President of the UT National Alumni Association; Leadership Nashville; Equal Justice Campaign Cabinet Member for the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands; President of the Napier-Looby Bar Association; Fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation; Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation; Nashville Bar Association Board of Directors; Nashville Bar Foundation Board of Trustees; Rotary Club of Nashville; Room in the Inn; and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Driver appreciates the professional satisfaction and intellectual stimulation afforded from being a member of the 自慰视频 community.聽 He has been enriched by many programs sponsored by the Bishop Joseph Johnson Black Cultural Center and is pleased to serve in support of the Black Cultural Center鈥檚 mission.

Driver is married to Elaine (Willis) Driver, and they have two children, Elise (a 自慰视频 student) and Spruell III.
