{"id":6312,"date":"2023-04-04T13:17:09","date_gmt":"2023-04-04T18:17:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vanderbilt.edu\/lgbtqi\/?page_id=6312"},"modified":"2025-01-22T14:30:58","modified_gmt":"2025-01-22T20:30:58","slug":"reserve-the-kitchen","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.vanderbilt.edu\/lgbtqi\/about-us\/reserve-the-kitchen","title":{"rendered":"Reserve the Kitchen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>KCPC Kitchen Policy:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Before using the kitchen, please be sure to check-in with the person at the front desk so that they are aware the kitchen is being used.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that if you would like to use the kitchen after hours (after 8pm Mon-Fri, after 4pm on Sat, or anytime Sun) and\/or if your student organization would like to prepare an elaborate (i.e., preparing multiple things at once) meal\u2013 you will need to <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSevgCpvJNnm925Qu5fHRh9HIDWwnz8cDdT7msZB2de5EWRt9w\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">submit a request<\/a> to utilize the kitchen at least two days prior to when you plan on using the kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions or concerns regarding the kitchen policy, please send us an email at <a href=\"mailto:lgbtqi@vanderbilt.edu\">lgbtqi@vanderbilt.edu<\/a>. Please note, submitted a request does not guarantee approval.<\/p>\n<p>When using the kitchen, we ask that you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please remain in the kitchen while you are preparing your meal<\/li>\n<li>If it is a group, please have at least one person from your group in the kitchen at all times<\/li>\n<li>Set a timer to alert you when your food is ready to be taken out of the oven\/off of the stove<\/li>\n<li>Clean up after yourself once you are done cooking<\/li>\n<li>Wash your dishes, wipe down the oven\/stove top\/counters, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Submit your request to use the KCPC kitchen <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSevgCpvJNnm925Qu5fHRh9HIDWwnz8cDdT7msZB2de5EWRt9w\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KCPC Kitchen Policy:\u00a0 Before using the kitchen, please be sure to check-in with the person at the front desk so that they are aware the kitchen is being used.
