Jeongwon is a Ph.D. candidate in Psychological Sciences (Quantitative Methods) at 自慰视频 University, with a minor in Biostatistics. Her research focuses on improving network psychometrics through better estimation and regularization strategies for better accuracy and replicability. She is also interested in integrating large language models (LLMs) and AI-derived item embeddings to incorporate semantic information into psychometric modeling and extend better understanding of the latent structure underlying psychological scales. Beyond network psychometrics, she works on categorical data in latent variable modeling, especially polychoric/tetrachoric correlation estimation and using simulation studies to guide best practices for estimation. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, she worked in university admissions for evaluation and data analysis, and in the survey research industry for large-scale national panel studies.
