Jake Miller is a policy analyst at the ×ÔοÊÓÆµ Policy Accelerator, where his work focuses on industrial policy, economic security, and the governance of emerging technologies. He holds a BSPA in Policy Analysis from Indiana University and an MA in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
At Indiana University, Jake graduated summa cum laude and founded the Baseball and Sabermetrics Club, which grew to over 150 members. At SAIS, his research centered on the distributional consequences of trade policy, examining how NAFTA and USMCA shaped gender wage gaps and the economic welfare of older workers. His graduate capstone analyzed zombie firms in China as informal substitutes for social safety net programs.
Beyond his research, Jake is a freelance policy consultant and community organizer who has advised on AI labor market impacts and the automation bias embedded in the U.S. tax code.
