Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering

Overview

Lauren Bayer is a graduate student in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department in Dr. Carlos Silvera Batista lab. Her research involves investigating colloidal systems and interfaces under applied electric fields. Lauren loves to be involved in the community which helps focus in her research for public impact. She also has a passion for working with children in STEM education programs to show them what a future in academia looks like. Lauren uses the cleanroom for fabricating microfluidic channels and devices!
