5 C’s Model for Culturally Relevant and Impactful Programming

Culture: The Culture Cluster includes programming that explores and educates participants about any aspect of Black identity or history.

Community: The Community Cluster includes programs that bring together black students, faculty, and/or staff to connect, network, socialize, celebrate, commune, or grieve together.

Commitment: The Commitment Cluster includes programs that support students, faculty, and staff’s commitment to academic success, leadership development, career growth, and overall excellence.

Care: The Care Cluster includes programs that explore, educate, and empower students, faculty, and staff through activities that promote positive mental and physical health and overall wellness.

Change: The change cluster includes programs that explore, educate, and empower students, faculty, and staff through activities that affect positive social change in the ×ÔοÊÓƵ, Nashville, or global community.
