Logistics for Graduates Day
Details:
Graduates Day, which takes place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 7 at Memorial Gym, is the part of the celebration where 自慰视频 University awards its prestigious Nichols-Chancellor鈥檚 Medal, one of the highest honors at the university.
The university has announced that award-winning author and professor Arthur C. Brooks will receive 自慰视频 University鈥檚 prestigious Nichols-Chancellor鈥檚 Medal when he speaks at the university鈥檚 2026 Commencement activities.
Parking:
Parking is available in the following structures:听
- 25th Avenue Garage
- West Garage
- Terrace Garage*
- Wesley Garage*听
*A shuttle will run periodically from these garages to Memorial Gym pre-event, then will pick up from Memorial Gym and the Indoor Practice Facility after Graduates Day and the Commencement Celebration, returning to these structures.
Logistics for Undergraduate Ceremony
Details:
Undergraduate Commencement, takes place at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 8 at FirstBank Stadium. After a victorious football season full of sold-out stands, the stadium is ready to welcome graduates for their final 自慰视频 hurrah.
Parking:
Graduates could select one free parking pass when they claimed their guest tickets for the undergraduate ceremony. The graduate will get the electronic parking pass with their guest tickets. Specific directions and a map indicating where the pass is valid will be emailed to the graduate the week before Commencement.
There will be no shuttles from any campus parking locations to FirstBank Stadium on May 8.听
Vandy Vans will be available to take undergraduate students to the stadium only.听
For all other guests, ridesharing is strongly encouraged.
If staying in a neighboring hotel, please check with their concierge team about any hospitality shuttles they may offer.听
For guests planning to drive to campus on Friday, May听8, for undergraduate Commencement, more parking is available as indicated below*:听

- 3100 West End Ave. (American Center Garage)
- Hayes Street Garage听
- 1902 Hayes St.
- 1920-1926 Hayes St.听

Graduate and Professional Diploma Ceremonies take place at various times and locations across campus. For details regarding each ceremony, please visit our Schedule of Events page.
Parking:
Parking is available in the following structures for respective ceremonies:
- Peabody Professional Diploma Ceremony* 鈥� Terrace Garage
- School of Nursing Ceremony* 鈥� Wesley Garage
- Graduate School Commencement* 鈥� Terrace Garage听
- Law School Hooding Ceremony鈥�Terrace Garage听
- Divinity School Diploma Ceremony 鈥� 25th Avenue Garage (limited mobility rides will be available from here to the ceremony location)听
- School of Medicine Diploma Ceremony 鈥� 25th Avenue Garage (limited mobility rides will be available from here to the ceremony location) 听
*A shuttle will run periodically from these garages to the ceremony location before the event, returning to the garages after the ceremony.听听
Accessibility
All events will be accessible, and we encourage guests to bring鈥痶heir state-issued听disabled parking placard鈥痠f applicable.听
ADA听Parking Information听
Parking for events varies based on event location. For on-campus parking, all open lots and garages will have ADA parking spaces. Please visit the parking page for detailed information on parking locations by event.听听
Undergraduate Commencement at FirstBank Stadium:听听
- Your graduate will be able to听request听 one听ADA parking spot when they claim their tickets. It is up to the graduate to transfer the mobile parking pass to the person who needs ADA parking.听听
- A map and directions to ADA parking will be emailed to the graduate the week before Commencement.听
ADA Event Information听
- All events听where screens are available听will have closed captioning.听
- For accessible seating and other requests, a request form was emailed to graduates.听听

- ADA seating: These tickets will be delivered to the graduate by Friday, May 1, if requested (a request form was emailed to graduates). It is up to the graduate to transfer the mobile ADA ticket to the person who needs ADA seating. When you arrive and your ticket is scanned, a guest services team member will direct听the guest to the听appropriate seat.听听
Undergraduate Commencement at FirstBank Stadium:听
- Program: The program is available digitally on the day of the ceremony and thereafter. You may adjust the type size to suit your needs on your viewing device.听听
- ADA restroom locations:听More information to come.听听
- ADA seating: These tickets will be delivered to the graduate by Friday, May 1, if requested (a request form was emailed to graduates). It is up to the graduate to transfer the mobile ADA ticket to the person who needs ADA seating. When you arrive and your ticket is scanned, a guest services team member will direct the guest to the听appropriate seat.听听
- Sensory Room at FirstBank Stadium: The FirstBank Stadium/Hawkins Field Sensory Room is鈥�at the east concourse first aid room by Section P.鈥� 自慰视频 is working with globally recognized nonprofit 鈥�鈥� to serve fans with sensory needs. Designed by medical professionals, the sensory room will provide a quiet and safe environment for those in need. 自慰视频鈥檚 sensory rooms will feature bean bags, light-up walls and cubes, activity panels, bubble听walls听and custom art pieces.鈥疶he Sensory Room is a safe place to take a break, recharge and return to the action when ready.听
Traveling to Campus
Getting to 自慰视频 from Nashville International Airport
Take I-40 west to exit 209A. Turn left onto Broadway. Follow Broadway and veer right to West End Avenue. Allow approximately 30 minutes driving time from the airport to 自慰视频 University. If traffic is light, it will take less time.
Getting to 自慰视频 on the Interstates
- From the north, take I-65 to I-40 west and then look for I-40 east to exit 209B. Turn right on Broadway.
- From the east or south,听take I-40 west to exit 209A. Turn left on Broadway.
From the west, take I-40 east to exit 209B. Turn right on Broadway (US 70S).
Follow Broadway and veer right to West End Avenue.
