Our Mission

University Compliance Services (UCS) is responsible for the strategic design and implementation of the ×ÔοÊÓÆµ University Compliance Program and providing education and training for students, faculty, and staff to help develop strategies to avoid compliance and ethics failures.

The ×ÔοÊÓÆµ University Compliance Program demonstrates the University's commitment to ethical conduct and compliance by providing guidance for conduct designed to prevent and detect violations of law and by encouraging compliance by providing support, training, and educational resources to assist ×ÔοÊÓÆµ in fulfilling its responsibilities through its students, faculty, and staff.

Standards of Conduct

All members of the Board of Trust, the Chancellor, general officers, the executive administration, administrative officers, members of the faculty and staff, and others representing ×ÔοÊÓÆµ University are expected to always act legally and ethically in the discharge of their duties. The University is committed to legal and ethical conduct and compliance by setting forth guidelines for conduct designed to prevent and detect violations of law, uphold accreditation standards, comply with University policies, and encourage reporting of compliance concerns. Faculty members employed by VUMC will be responsible in the conduct of their work for complying with  standards of conduct adopted by VUMC as well as standards of conduct adopted by ×ÔοÊÓÆµ University.

We are excited to share that in the effort to promote ×ÔοÊÓÆµ's mission and community values of Belonging, Self-Direction, Collaboration and Growth, our Standards of Conduct guidance is currently under revision and will be relaunched soon. Report Illegal and Unethical Behavior

Every person at ×ÔοÊÓÆµ University is expected to perform his or her duties with the highest degree of integrity. If you suspect someone is behaving illegally or unethically, please speak up and report your concern. An anonymous, confidential, independently-run hotline is available to report compliance concerns and complaints. Reports can be made online at the or by toll-free call to (844) 814-5935.

  • ×ÔοÊÓÆµ Public Health & Safety

    The health, wellness and safety of every ×ÔοÊÓÆµ student is a top priority for all members of our faculty and staff. Students have access to a full range of resources and services designed to ensure their personal safety and their physical and mental well-being.

    ×ÔοÊÓÆµ University is committed to advancing a fair, just, and supportive campus culture. The team investigates allegations of discrimination, harassment, and other prohibited conduct, as well as providing guidance to faculty and staff on strategic people initiatives, workforce analysis, leave management, workers compensation, discipline and performance management, etc.

  • Protection of Minors

    ×ÔοÊÓÆµ is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of minors participating in university programs and in university spaces and facilities. The Protection of Minors Policy establishes compliance requirements and best practices to create a collective campus culture of safety for youth.

  • Clery Act Compliance

    Under the Clery Act, all institutions of postsecondary education, both public and private, that participate in federal student aid programs must publish and disseminate an as well as make timely warnings of any ongoing threats to the campus community. 

  • ×ÔοÊÓÆµ Title IX Office

    The Title IX Office supports the University’s commitment to maintain an environment free from sex and gender discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual misconduct, interpersonal violence (including domestic violence and dating violence), and stalking.

  • ×ÔοÊÓÆµ Office of Cybersecurity

    o×ÔοÊÓÆµ aims to have a robust cybersecurity program and has implemented several security services to protect you, your data, and ×ÔοÊÓÆµ systems. Cybersecurity is a shared responsibility.
