Faculty Leadership
Residential听faculty leaders听represent听all five undergraduate schools (A&S, Blair, Connected Computing, Engineering and Peabody)听and the School of Medicine. Among them are noted researchers, scholars,听writers听and award-winning teachers. They听have听an array of backgrounds, interests,听experiences听and professional accomplishments. Seventeen faculty members听reside听in the residential college system, including ten faculty heads of house, six faculty heads of college and the听senior associate provost for residential colleges.听听
Faculty heads engage students through dinners,听discussion听and programs that explore complex questions, connect ideas across听disciplines听and introduce visiting scholars and experts. Just as often, you may see them informally at meals, in shared spaces or heading to class. Together, these interactions create opportunities for mentorship, meaningful听dialogue听and ongoing intellectual exchange within a residential community.听
