Enabling and Disabling the New Content Experience

Brightspace Content is Getting Upgraded

Beginning with the Fall 2027 semester, Brightspace courses will default to the New Content Experience. Additionally, Instructors now have the ability to enable or disable the New Content Experience in their own courses ahead of the change in Fall 2027. For more information about this transition, see our New Content Experience Transition page.

Beginning with Fall 2027 courses, the New Content Experience will become the default for future courses. Before that time, Instructors and other course builders can opt-in to this New Content Experience now. If Instructors prefer the Classic Content view, the New Content Experience can be disable in any course.Ìý

NOTE: Switching between New and Classic Content Experiences does not result in any loss of data, but it may result in some content being hidden if it's not supported by the current view. For more information about the differences between the New and Classic Content Experiences, refer to .Ìý
