1. Check Compatibility
Before installing, please review the compatibility between Linux distributions and GlobalProtect app versions:
2. Download the GlobalProtect Client
Download the client, which contains both DEB and RPM packages:
- If prompted, complete the login process. Once logged in, click Download to save the file to your device.
3. Install the Client
Follow the installation instructions provided in the link below, skipping the steps related to downloading the client.
- Use the portal address: connect.vanderbilt.edu
- The GUI version is labeled with the prefix "GlobalProtect_UI."
4. Use the GlobalProtect App for Linux
Refer to the next section, which is linked at the bottom of the installation article, on using the GlobalProtect app.
