The following recommendations are designed to help students successfully navigate the college transition process:

    • Your health insurance plan, including insurance card (students on the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) can find information at )
    • Your allergies and associated reactions
    • Your medications, including doses (bring an adequate supply and/or refills that you can access while on campus)
    • How to use a thermometer (be sure to pack one)
  • If you are currently seeing a healthcare professional for medical and/or mental health concerns, consider discussing a plan for ongoing care, which may include shortterm services on campus and/or longterm care offcampus
  • We encourage you to contact Student Care Coordination before arriving to discuss your existing healthcare needs and for assistance in developing a plan for ongoing care
