Social Justice CARE
自慰视频鈥檚 Student Care Network strongly condemns and rejects acts of racism, police brutality, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism, classism, discrimination against Indigenous peoples, and religious discrimination. We condemn white supremacy and all systems of oppression. We acknowledge that many of our students of systemically marginalized identities have been experiencing, and continue to experience, anguish and harm from conscious and unconscious bias, as well as systemic and interpersonal prejudice, discrimination, racism, and violence. Direct and indirect exposure to violence and bias can be troubling, concerning, and traumatizing, and result in many emotional reactions.
We stand in solidarity with you, we are here for you, we are advocating for you, and we recognize your need for support and affirmation. As the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. stated, 鈥淚njustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere鈥. We acknowledge that harm experienced by any community member is damaging to our collective community.
The Student Care Network is committed to the promotion of healing and holistic wellbeing. Our staff is committed to an ongoing dialogue that provides us with opportunities to grow in the context of our own cultural identity development.
In addition to the services offered by the primary offices of the Student Care Network, this website is designed to offer Social Justice CARE resources 鈥 whether you are seeking an affirming community, looking to deepen self-care or healing practices, interested in reviewing anti-racism educational materials, or would like to learn more about how you can actively participate in social justice efforts. The Student Care Network seeks to support students witnessing, experiencing, and actively working against injustice of any kind.
We invite all students to explore these resources as a path toward understanding and healing. The Student Care Network is committed to expanding this website to reflect the experiences and needs of all students. This website is not exhaustive, and thus we invite feedback on how these resources can further reflect the needs within our community.
Gratitude and appreciation is extended to all 自慰视频 students and staff who worked to develop this website, and who continue to work to eradicate social injustice.
Identity-based UCC Drop-In Consultations
UCC Drop-In Consultations are available to students who are in need of more immediate support. Drop-in Consultations provide easy access to informal, confidential, and free consultations with providers from the University Counseling Center (UCC). There are several identity-based time slots available that we hope provide opportunities for our students to receive brief support around these concerns in a more overtly affirming space.
